A public health forum on modern heart treatments will take place in Cebu City on April 17, 2026. Organised by the Asian Heart & Vascular Centre (AHVC), the event will feature talks by two leading cardiologists from Asia. The forum aims to share the latest advances in minimally invasive heart care with the local community.

The event, titled 'Redefining Heart Care: State-of-the-Art Solutions for Today's Patients', will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at San Martin Hall in the Radisson Blu Hotel. Admission is free, but seating is limited, so early registration is advised. Those interested can sign up online via a Google Forms link before the RSVP deadline on Friday, April 3, 2026.

Dr. Edgar Tay will present 'Beyond Bypass: The Latest Advances in Treating Structural Heart Disease'. His session will explore new methods for managing heart conditions without traditional surgery.

Dr. Pipin Kojodjojo will follow with a discussion on 'Tackling Atrial Fibrillation', a common heart rhythm disorder affecting around 60 million people worldwide. Both doctors are recognised as leading figures in Asian cardiology.

The forum seeks to help Cebu residents better understand modern heart treatments. By focusing on minimally invasive techniques, the organisers hope to make cutting-edge medical knowledge more accessible to the public.

The Asian Heart & Vascular Centre has opened registrations for the April 17 event. Attendees will hear directly from top cardiologists about the future of heart disease treatment. Free admission and limited seating mean early sign-ups are recommended before the April 3 deadline.
