Mitch McConnell hospitalized again amid long-standing health struggles

Mitch McConnell, the 84-year-old former Senate leader, has been admitted to hospital again. His health has been closely watched for years due to past injuries and childhood polio. The Republican senator continues to serve while managing mobility challenges. McConnell first entered the Senate in 1984. He led the Republican party in the chamber from 2007 until stepping down last year, becoming the longest-serving Senate leader in history.
