Magadan's New 50-Bed Rehabilitation Centre Nears July 2023 Opening

A new 50-bed rehabilitation centre in Magadan is almost ready to open. The facility forms part of the wider effort to revitalise the Gorokhotskoye Field area. It will offer advanced care for people with disabilities starting in July 2023. Construction of the medical complex is nearly complete. The site includes three interconnected buildings with a shared technical floor. Inside, workers have finished major interior tasks, installed furniture, and delivered medical equipment.

The centre will provide a wide range of services. These include medical and social rehabilitation, physiotherapy, thermotherapy, ergotherapy, and psychological support. A team of therapists, neurologists, and rehabilitation specialists will work together to assist patients.

Specialised facilities are a key feature. A pool with an adjustable floor will allow customised water therapy. Modern gyms and dedicated rooms for kinesio- and locomotion therapy will also be available. The centre is scheduled to begin operations in July 2023. Its comprehensive services and advanced equipment aim to improve rehabilitation outcomes. The project supports the ongoing development of Magadan’s Gorokhotskoye Field area.
