Magadan's AI-powered health revolution transforms remote maternal care

A new state-of-the-art Maternal and Child Health Center is set to open in Magadan Region. These systems can retrieve a patient’s three-year medical history in seconds and work with existing medical operating systems. Tatyana Savchenko, Deputy Chair of the Magadan Region Government, highlighted how AI can transform healthcare in remote territories.

Regional authorities and insurance companies have committed to long-term cooperation. Their focus has shifted from the number of check-ups to the quality of care and early detection of serious illnesses. By the end of summer, SOGAZ-Med will also release specialized clinical guidelines for general practitioners.

Magadan is now positioned to become a reproductive health hub for the entire macro-region. An ambitious strategy aims to support demographic growth and raise healthcare standards across the area.
