Pacific State Medical University graduates 55th class of public health defenders

Pacific State Medical University held a graduation ceremony for its 55th group of preventive medicine specialists. The event brought together leaders from Rospotrebnadzor, regional healthcare experts, and university faculty. Rector Kirill Stegniy addressed the graduates during the occasion. Stegniy began by thanking the parents and educators present. He then stressed the importance of the graduates’ training in preventive medicine, calling it a strategic field. Their studies covered epidemiology, hygiene, toxicology, and healthcare management.

He reminded the new specialists of their vital role in stopping disease and protecting public health. He also urged them to challenge any breaches of sanitary standards they encounter. Before closing, Stegniy assured the graduates that PSMU would welcome them back for advice or future collaboration. The ceremony marked the completion of training for the latest cohort of preventive medicine professionals. Graduates left with a clear message about their responsibilities and the ongoing support of their university.
