Mandsaur Hospital to Get Advanced Mammography Machine by June End
The District Hospital in Mandsaur will soon receive a new mammography machine worth Rs 45 lakh. The advanced equipment aims to improve breast cancer detection for local women. Services are expected to start by the end of June. The mammography machine is being installed through a joint effort by the Rotary Club of Mandsaur and the family of social worker Pradeep Ganediwal. It honours the memory of late Ranchhod Prasad Ganediwal. District Collector Aditi Garg has already allocated space, and technical preparations are underway.
Once operational, the facility will allow early breast cancer screening within the district. This will save women the long trips to Indore, Ujjain, Udaipur, and other cities for tests. The Ganediwal family has also funded a modern cardiac ambulance to boost emergency healthcare in the area.
Rotary Club officials stated these projects would enhance access to quality medical care. They also mark a step forward in strengthening Mandsaur’s healthcare infrastructure. The new machine will benefit thousands of women by enabling early diagnosis and treatment. It will reduce travel burdens and improve local healthcare services. The initiative is set to launch in late June.
