Nizhny Novgorod's Children's Clinic Reopens After Major Modernization

Children’s City Polyclinic No. 39 in Sovetskiy District, Nizhny Novgorod, has completed major upgrades to its facilities. The clinic, one of the region’s leading medical institutions, now offers a modern and welcoming space for young patients. Bright interiors and dedicated play areas have been added to improve the experience for children and families. The clinic recently underwent extensive renovations. These included replacing elevators, electrical wiring, and utilities, as well as repairing the roof. It is now equipped with advanced medical devices such as a digital X-ray machine, ultrasound scanners, and a defibrillator.

Under the leadership of Chief Physician Inna Kondratyeva, who has 30 years of experience in paediatrics, the clinic has also embraced digital transformation. Since 2022, it has fully switched to electronic medical records. District paediatricians and school healthcare providers now use mobile tablets linked to the medical information system.

Patients can book appointments online, request medical certificates, and arrange home visits from doctors. Kondratyeva has proposed constructing a new modern children’s clinic in the district to meet the growing population’s needs. She also stressed the importance of expanding the digital healthcare system for better safety and accessibility. The upgrades have modernised the clinic’s infrastructure and services. Patients now benefit from improved facilities, cutting-edge equipment, and streamlined digital access to care. The changes aim to enhance efficiency and comfort for young patients and their families.
