Taylor & Francis joins Open Pharma to advance transparent pharmaceutical research

Taylor & Francis has become the newest official supporter of Open Pharma. The scholarly publisher joins the initiative to promote open research principles in pharmaceutical studies. Its efforts include publishing plain language summary recommendations, which appeared in Taylor & Francis’ journal Current Medical Research and Opinion in 2021.

Taylor & Francis now stands alongside major industry backers such as AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Novartis. The publisher’s wide range of open access options aligns with Open Pharma’s goals. Tim Koder, founder of Open Pharma, welcomed the new partnership, noting that Taylor & Francis will gain privileged access to future discussions.
