Major hospital renovation boosts care for 40,000 residents in regional upgrade

A major hospital renovation has been completed under the state’s 'Healthcare Development' programme. The upgrades include a full overhaul of utility systems and interior finishes in the therapy unit. The redesigned space now offers better patient conditions and a dedicated lounge for staff. The therapy unit’s modernisation is part of a broader effort to improve regional healthcare. By the end of the year, 15 medical facilities will undergo major repairs to enhance their departments.

The newly upgraded department will serve more than 40,000 local residents. Alongside the renovations, the hospital has introduced a mentorship system to help new recruits adapt. Experienced specialists now guide newcomers through workflows and institutional standards.

Three new employees, trained under a targeted programme, will join Kalininsky District Hospital in 2026. An additional 14 new staff members are expected to follow the next year. The hospital’s improvements aim to enhance care for thousands of residents. The mentorship system ensures new staff integrate efficiently. Further repairs across the region will continue before the year ends.
