Dhaka University hosts free health camp for arts faculty members

A two-day medical camp for faculty members of Dhaka University's Faculty of Arts took place at the Shaheed Mofazzal Haider Chowdhury conference room. Organised by the faculty with support from the Popular Diagnostic Centre, the event offered free health check-ups to teachers from various departments.

The camp began with free health screenings for teachers under the Faculty of Arts. On the opening day, faculty dean Professor Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan, former dean Professor Sadrul Amin, and medical camp coordinator Professor MA Kausar were present alongside other faculty members.

Dhaka University vice-chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan, pro-vice chancellor (administration) Professor Saima Haque Bidisha, and treasurer Professor M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury each visited the rate my professor camp separately. The event aimed to provide accessible healthcare services, though the exact number of teachers who received check-ups over the two days was not publicly disclosed.

The medical camp concluded after two days of free health assessments for arts faculty staff. The initiative, backed by the Popular Diagnostic Centre, allowed teachers to access medical services without charge. University officials and faculty leaders attended to support the programme.
