Ezhva City Hospital unveils cutting-edge modular emergency unit
A key phase of the project has been completed: the contract for the delivery and installation of the modular structure has been fulfilled.
All necessary medical equipment has already arrived at the hospital.
The facilities are now equipped with state-of-the-art surgical lighting, and work is actively underway to install and connect the remaining equipment, as well as to furnish the building with specialized medical furniture.
The modular emergency admissions unit is designed to provide urgent medical care. Upon arrival, patients will be triaged into three streams based on the severity of their condition: "green," "yellow," and "red."
Green: Exacerbations of chronic illnesses or minor injuries that do not pose a life-threatening risk.
Yellow: Patients requiring urgent medical attention.
Red: Critically ill patients at immediate risk of death (including those needing resuscitation or emergency surgery).
This triage system will help expedite care in life-threatening situations.
The unique modular emergency unit was built under the federal program "Improving Emergency Medical Care" as part of the national project "Long and Active Life." The national projects were initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, with their implementation in the Republic of Komi overseen by the regional head, Rostislav Goldstein.
