The trouble began when von Anhalt noticed his previously stitched arm wound had reopened. He was quickly taken by ambulance to a hospital in Waldshut-Tiengen for treatment. Doctors discovered a serious infection, requiring immediate action to stop it spreading to the bone.

During the surgery, a large amount of pus and dirt was removed from the wound. After the procedure, von Anhalt received strong antibiotics and had an arm brace fitted. The injury originally happened in 2019 when he was hit by a vehicle on the island of Phuket.

This medical emergency followed his recent withdrawal from the celebrity cast of Battle of the Reality Stars in Thailand.

Von Anhalt is now recovering after the surgery to treat the infected wound. The antibiotics and brace are part of his ongoing treatment. His condition will be monitored to ensure the infection does not return.
