The Achchi Bhookh School Foodie Quiz has wrapped up its 2026 season with record-breaking participation. Over 35,000 registrations poured in, making it the largest food quiz in India, as recognised by both the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records. The event aimed to boost food literacy among children and parents alike through interactive learning.
The competition began with regional rounds across 28 Indian cities. Mumbai led with 1,456 participants, followed by Delhi (1,234) and Bengaluru (1,089). The quiz tested knowledge on nutrition, diet myths, and meal planning, targeting children aged 6 to 12 and their families.
The grand finale took place in Mumbai, drawing over 300 students and parents. Hosted by educators, nutrition experts, and quizmaster Avinash Mudaliar, the event encouraged intergenerational learning about healthy eating. Sana Roshith and her father Roshith Mohan emerged as winners, taking home a hybrid bicycle, laptop, trophy, and certificate.
Anant Pradyumna Srikant and his father P. Srikant secured second place, winning a hybrid bicycle, Samsung tablet, trophy, and certificate. Teertha Garimella and her mother Pragati Garimella came third, receiving a hybrid bicycle, smartwatch, trophy, and certificate.
Alongside the quiz, LupinLife introduced Nutribot, a WhatsApp-based assistant designed to help parents answer children's nutrition questions. The tool aims to simplify dietary guidance for families.
The quiz's success reflects a growing interest in food education across India. With 35,000 registrations and 28 cities involved, the event highlighted the demand for accessible nutrition knowledge. Winners and participants left with prizes, resources, and a stronger understanding of healthy living.
