Kazakh University Patents Miracle Juice—A Vitamin-Packed Natural Drink
Researchers at Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University have developed a natural vitamin drink named Miracle Juice. The product, led by Professor Sayakova G.M., combines pumpkin, carrot, apple, and sea buckthorn—ingredients selected for their high nutritional value. The university's Department of Pharmacognosy secured a patent for the formula, along with official registration from Kazakhstan's RNSTD. The creation of Miracle Juice began with a focus on maximising vitamin content and potential health benefits. Scientists analysed the ingredients for their therapeutic properties, particularly their anti-inflammatory effects. The mixture then underwent rigorous testing, including organoleptic, physicochemical, and microbiological evaluations to ensure it met quality standards.
Preclinical assessments checked for toxicity and sub-toxicity, confirming the drink's safety. Standardisation procedures further verified its nutritional and safety indicators. While the university highlights the drink's alignment with global trends in natural health products, no peer-reviewed clinical trials or published studies currently document its specific health benefits. The project underscores Kazakhstan's ability to blend natural resources with scientific research in developing functional foods. Professor Sayakova's team aimed to create a product that supports preventive health measures, using locally sourced ingredients.
The patented Miracle Juice has completed safety and quality checks, positioning it as a potential addition to health-focused beverages. Its development reflects a broader push in the food and pharmaceutical sectors toward natural, preventive solutions. The university's work now awaits further validation through independent research and clinical studies.
