A global competition to extend healthy human lifespan has reached its next stage. The XPRIZE Healthspan Semi-Finals now include teams from 20 countries and regions, ranging from the United States and China to New Zealand and South Africa. Among the participants, Lionheart Health has announced a key partnership with Rejuvant to boost its research efforts.
Lionheart Health's KLOTHO-UPTM Study will now incorporate Rejuvant's CaAKG supplement as a core requirement. This compound, known for its potential to support cellular health, joins a broader programme of personalised supplements and bioelectric exercise sessions. Participants in the study will follow a structured regimen, with their progress tracked through rigorous testing.
Testing will take place at four points: baseline, three months, six months, and twelve months. Each assessment includes a detailed 461-biomarker blood panel to monitor biological changes. The partnership aims to combine proven nutritional strategies with cutting-edge technology to measure and improve healthspan.
The collaboration reflects a growing trend in longevity research, where supplements and advanced diagnostics work together. By integrating CaAKG with other interventions, Lionheart's programme seeks to provide a comprehensive approach to healthy ageing.
The XPRIZE Healthspan Semi-Finals continue to attract international teams, each exploring new ways to extend healthy lifespans. Lionheart's study, now reinforced by Rejuvant's supplement, will track participants over a full year using detailed biomarker analysis. Results from this and similar initiatives could shape future strategies for improving long-term health.
