Manchester's Regional Medical Center secures £24K for surgical expansion

Regional Medical Center’s annual Gratitude Gala has raised £24,000 for a major surgical expansion. The funds will help build an 18,400 square foot addition in Manchester. The project aims to modernise operating facilities and improve patient care.

The gala took place on April 17th at Rustic Creek in Hopkinton. Valerie Lindsay, the centre’s Volunteer Services and Fund Development Manager, thanked donors, sponsors, staff and volunteers for their contributions.

The new surgical wing will include larger pre-op and post-op areas to ensure patient privacy and recovery. Spacious operating suites will meet current best-practice standards. These rooms will easily fit robotic systems and other advanced medical equipment. The infrastructure is being designed to support the latest life-saving surgical tools. The expansion will bring modern surgical facilities to Manchester. Patients will benefit from improved recovery spaces and access to cutting-edge technology. The project moves forward with strong community and financial backing.
