Neocor Launches Bioprosthetic Heart Valve Plant in Kemerovo to Expand Globally

Neocor JSC has opened a new bioprosthetic heart valve plant in Kemerovo. The facility will boost production and support the company's plans to expand into global markets. Total investment in the project reached 346 million rubles, with funding from multiple sources. The new plant will increase Neocor's annual output of bioprosthetic heart valves from 2,000 to 4,500 units. It also enables the company to move from rented spaces into its own manufacturing complex. By 2027, Neocor aims to start producing transcatheter heart valves as well.

Funding for the project included a 90 million ruble loan from Russia's Industry Development Fund (IDF). SME Bank contributed 80 million rubles, while the Kuzbass Industrial Development Fund added 10 million rubles. These investments support Neocor's broader strategy to expand exports beyond Russia and India.

Neocor currently supplies bioprosthetic heart valves, annuloplasty rings, cardiovascular patches, and vascular bioprostheses. Its key customers include state and private cardiovascular surgery centres across Russia. The company now plans to enter 10 new markets by 2027, targeting Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The Kemerovo plant strengthens Neocor's production capacity and export potential. With increased output and new product lines, the company is set to grow its presence in international cardiovascular markets. The project's completion marks a step toward meeting rising demand for advanced heart valve technologies.
