Residents of Nizhny Novgorod can now access free health equity screenings to detect early signs of ageing. The programme, open to anyone aged 18 and older, aims to identify hidden health equity risks before symptoms appear.

Local health centres are offering the screenings at no cost. Doctors will check for metabolic disorders, hormonal imbalances, and vascular health equity issues. Cognitive function will also be assessed as part of the evaluation.

Beyond basic tests, specialists will look for potential problems that may not yet cause discomfort. Participants will then receive tailored advice on nutrition and exercise. The goal is to extend healthy, active years and lower long-term health equity risks.

The initiative provides an opportunity for early intervention without financial barriers. Residents can visit their nearest health centre to take part. No prior symptoms or concerns are required to qualify.
