TV Tips for Monday - Tonight's TV lineup: Crime, sci-fi, business pitches and a sugar exposé

Tonight's TV schedule offers a mix of crime, sci-fi, business, and health equity. At 8:15 PM, viewers can choose between a new crime drama on ZDF, a superhero adventure on kabel eins, or entrepreneurial pitches on VOX. Later, Das Erste will examine Germany's sugar habits, while ZDF closes the evening with an action thriller.

On ZDF at 8:15 PM, Unter anderen Umständen: The Nameless Girl follows Commissioner Jana Winter as she probes the discovery of a young woman's remains in the Geltinger Birk nature reserve. The victim, nicknamed 'Sunny' by Commissioner Matthias Hamm, has lain buried for about two years, yet no missing persons report matches her identity.

At the same time, kabel eins will broadcast Ant-Man and the Wasp, a sci-fi film where Scott Lang, Dr. Hank Pym, and Hope Van Dyne team up to save Hope's mother from the quantum realm. Their mission faces interference from criminals Burch and Ghost.

Over on VOX, Shark Tank returns with entrepreneurs pitching fresh ideas. Patrick Beyer will present a protective case for condoms, while Dr. Heinz von Gersum and Lisa Hennrich compete in a head-to-head challenge for the investors' backing.

At 8:30 PM, Das Erste airs Hirschhausen and the Sugar Trap, a documentary highlighting Germany's high sugar intake—reportedly between 30.4 kg and 41.2 kg per person annually. The programme explores the health risks tied to excessive consumption.

ZDF wraps up the night at 10:15 PM with Chase, an action thriller. Will Spann races to find his wife, Lisa, after she mysteriously disappears during a routine stop at a petrol station.

The evening's lineup spans investigations, superhero battles, business ventures, and health warnings. Each programme provides distinct entertainment, from unsolved crimes to real-world health concerns. Viewers can tune in across multiple channels for a varied selection of stories.
