Zomato launches Ritual, a health-focused cloud kitchen for fitness lovers

Zomato has entered the health-focused food market with a new cloud kitchen called Ritual. The brand specialises in high-protein drinks and nutritious meals, targeting fitness-conscious customers. Currently, the service is live in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR through the Zomato app.

The new venture is a partnership between Zomato and Massive Restaurants. While Zomato designs the menu and recipes, Massive Restaurants manages the kitchen operations. Ritual's offerings include protein shakes made from plant, whey, and yeast proteins, alongside hot and iced coffee options.

Salads and other health-oriented dishes also feature on the menu. The launch positions Ritual as a competitor to Swiggy's **EatRight**, a similar platform promoting healthy eating. Swiggy's service is already available in major cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, whereas Ritual remains limited to Gurugram and select areas of Delhi NCR for now. Zomato plans to expand Ritual to Mumbai and Delhi-NCR by mid-2026. The move marks the company's first step into a dedicated nutrition-focused food category, testing demand for specialised health meals.

Ritual is now accessible via the Zomato app in Gurugram and parts of Delhi NCR. The brand's high-protein beverages and salads cater to consumers prioritising fitness and wellness. Expansion to Mumbai and wider Delhi-NCR is expected within the next two years.
